Thank you for stopping by to learn more about us. This page is here to encourage you.
Our services are for hire, and we have products you can purchase, however I will also tell you about a self-study option which is completely free and without any strings attached to it. You can start today as a way of getting to know us better.
If you are a manager, and you want to be a great manager, there is a reason you found this page, and believe me, your time is now. Our world needs you, as the Alaka‘i Manager you are meant to be, and for a workplace reinvention we desperately need.
Say Leadership Coaching is a mentoring, coaching and training firm. Our customers are managers who want to work in business enterprise and on entrepreneurial pursuits while living their best possible life.
If you said, “Yes, I’m a manager” we believe you are a leader too. We believe the work you do matters, and is of great importance to our world. Don’t listen to any downsizing, outsourcing, or self-directed teaming campaign which tells you differently. You know better.
Those who have a calling for what we refer to as Alaka‘i (the Hawaiian value of leadership) deliver our greatest resource: The Aloha energy of human capacity and future genius. Alaka‘i Managers make workplace possibilities more exponential: They no longer control or direct: They mentor and coach. Their art is in strengthening and growing other people within the world of work, helping them see, and reach new possibility.
We believe that management and leadership are separate yet complementary working disciplines, and we coach and train individuals who are ready to approach them as Alaka‘i verbs, NOT as titles or positions on a company org chart. We define managing and leading in terms of human energy:
- LEADERSHIP is the workplace discipline of creating energy connected to a meaningful vision.
- MANAGEMENT is the workplace discipline of channeling that mission-critical energy into optimal performance and usefulness —for everyone involved.
Our company motto is Ho‘ohana with us: our passion is Managing with Aloha for we are dedicated to bringing Aloha and nobility to management in a time where leadership alone has become the buzzword of our generation. We believe that a business can only be successful with both disciplines, and when they work in a collaborative rhythm focused on three compass points: being mission-driven, values-centered, and customer-responsive. The fourth compass point is about you and your individual growth: It is the “north star” and guiding light of Ho‘ohana.

Therefore, we advocate that the managers we coach take on a different role than has been traditional in most business models. We will ask you to be brave, obliterating old-style management and leadership biz-speak once and for all, and refusing to be stereotyped or mediocre. It’s time to get real with what the calling of management and leadership are truly all about, making your impact happen on a day-to-day basis.
Here’s your call to action: You have three options before you. The first is highly customized, the second is self-study, and the third is web-based community study.

Introduce yourself when you get there and comment for the first time. I’m looking forward to meeting you, and getting to know you better too. Alaka‘i Managers, and the people who want to be one, learning from each other in the process, are people who make my heart sing, for they fill the future with hope and promise.
See you there, for if you’ve read this far, that Alaka‘i Manager I keep talking about? That would be you.
Ho‘ohana with us. You too can live, work, manage and lead with Aloha,
Rosa Say
